No tracking. No ads. No data harvesting. Just a beautifully designed portfolio tracker that keeps your financial data encrypted and under your control.
Most portfolio trackers want a profile, a phone number and a marketing consent before you can even see the app. Wagyu asks for a sign-in with Apple, Google or email and nothing else — with Sign in with Apple you can hide even that address. Open it and start adding your holdings. The app works fully from the first second.
You sign in with Apple, Google or email so your portfolio can sync between iPhone, iPad and Android — Sign in with Apple lets you hide your address entirely. There is no premium tier and nothing is paid for with your data: Wagyu is funded by nobody but its maker, and your holdings are never sold, analyzed or shared.
Wagyu contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising frameworks, and no third-party trackers. We don't know which assets you hold, what your portfolio is worth, or when you open the app. There are no "anonymous usage statistics" sent home — because there's no telemetry code in the app at all.
There are no ads, either. Your portfolio screen isn't interrupted by banners for trading platforms or sponsored "investment ideas." The app may be monetized someday, but never by selling your attention or your data. Right now it exists because I wanted a portfolio tracker that simply works, for myself first. What you see is a clean portfolio view, nothing more.
When you enable sync across devices, your portfolio data is encrypted on your iPhone before it leaves. The encryption keys stay on your devices — Wagyu's servers only ever see ciphertext. We architecturally cannot read your portfolio data, even with physical access to our own infrastructure.
This is a stronger guarantee than most "encrypted" apps offer. Many services encrypt data in transit but decrypt it on their servers for processing. Wagyu never decrypts your data server-side because it never has the keys. The encryption is true end-to-end, from your iPhone to your iPad to your Apple Watch.
Privacy doesn't mean compromise. Wagyu tracks crypto, stocks, and ETFs with real-time prices. It connects to your bank via FinTS for automatic portfolio import. It offers interactive charts, price alerts, home screen widgets, and Apple Watch support. You get every feature you'd expect from a modern portfolio tracker.
The difference is in the architecture. Bank connections run device-to-bank without a relay. CSV imports process locally and the file is discarded. Price data comes from public APIs. Every design decision minimizes the information that leaves your device, while keeping the user experience seamless.
Everything Wagyu does, one topic per page.
